Do your prices include VAT?
Yes, all our prices advertised on our website include VAT.

How much is the delivery charge?

Do you offer double glazing installation?
No, we only offer a diy double glazing service, though you can source a local recommended fitter by clicking here - Rated Door and Window Fitters

Do I have to employ the services of a FENSA approved fitter when installing doors and windows?
No, but if non-FENSA approved fitters are used, then application to the local building control office must be made to arrange appropriate inspection and approval.

What types of payment do you accept and do you charge for credit or debit cards?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, there are no additional charges for credit or debit cards or you can pay by cheque.

Do you supply side panels and top lights?
Yes, we can supply full glass, half glass, solid or matching side panels and top lights.

What woodgrain finish do you use?
We offer Golden Oak (Light Oak) and Cherrywood (Rosewood) finishes.  These are available internally/externally and also on white.

What colour are Synseal's extruded products?
If matching door panels, the colour code nearest match for white profile is C121.

Are your doors fire rated?
No, as with all UPVC profile, Synseal Extrusions achieve a class 1 surface spread of flame when tested to BS476 part 7.

Is there any regrind material in Synerjy window and door profiles?
All Synerjy window and door profiles are extruded from 100% virgin compound and are not diluted with second or more generation of reground extrusion profile. 

Is it necessary to install safety glass in doors?
Yes, the use of safety glass in buildings is specified in British Standard - refer to BS6262-4:1994. All our doors come standard with Toughened Pilkington K Energy Saving Safety Glass. 

What is the minimum size for a fire escape window?
The minimum size is an unobstructed openable area that is at least 0.33m2 (minimum dimensions: 750mm high and 450mm wide or 450mm high and 750mm wide). The bottom of the openable area should not be more than 1100mm from the floor. All bedroom windows should be fitted with at least 1 fire escape hinge.

My door has been delivered, where can I find the keys?
For a upvc door, the keys are screwed into the inside of the door sash, for a composite door the keys are inside the letterbox.
